Monte Munn letters and clipping [manuscript], 1927 January 2 and 27, undated.

Munger writes to Will Owen Jones concerning a speaking engagement in Washington [on a sports topic?]. He comments on reimbursing expenses for the trip, Paul Berlenbach and his life at training camp, his weak hand, "Jersey squeeters" making life miserable, a possible story "From White House to Barn," different associates from when he was in Washington, and "Peaches" and "Daddy Browning" grabbing all the publicity and making Tex Rickard look like a piker. He notes that "No one is inspired to become physically fit like the fighters. It only puts foolish ideas into hundreds of girls little heads." He mentions his brother Mole and his current reading, requests suggestions for further reading, regrets that Roscoe Pound is ill, and thanks Jones for his kindness. There is also an undated clipping of the newspaper column "Rickard's Ranking of Boxers" listing Munn in Group II of the Heavyweights category.
